A day of meditation, discussion and reflection with Bhikkhuni Canda.
How often in meditation do we get bogged down trying to fix what’s ‘wrong’ whilst neglecting to attend to and rejoice in the inner beauty and happiness within our reach? This meditation day will explore ways of empowering the mind with ‘beautiful’ perceptions that conduce to stillness and insight.
Bhikkhuni Canda is an English Theravadin nun and a disciple of Ajahn Brahm. She is the spiritual director of the Anukampa Project, A UK Charity which promotes the teachings and practice of Early Buddhism and aims to develop a nuns’ monastery in the UK. For more information please see see here
We’ll be in the basement at Anahata which has level access from St James Avenue – the red door. Please knock if you’d like to come in that way.
